Q Art Studio

Q ArtStudio is a division of VATMI Industries (the largest employer of people with disability in Victoria). The studio, an Australian Disability Enterprise, provides employment and on the job training and tuition for 12 artists with varying degrees of intellectual disability. Each artist has the opportunity to develop their creative talents in a challenging and nurturing work environment. The studio operates out of a purpose built facility in Kew, Melbourne.

Q ArtStudio:

• Is dedicated to supporting artists with intellectual disability to become professional visual arts and design practitioners and to promote their work within the broader community.
• Offers ongoing studio based employment, assisted by artists who provide support to develop each employee's artistic skills and work ethics.
• Produces paintings, drawings, ceramics and designs for greeting cards, gift wrap and speciality homewares such as aprons and t-towels.
