Project Management

 

VATPAK is committed to building long-term relationships through project management and process development.  What that means is that in addition to what we can offer.  We are dedicated to developing new processes and entering new markets.  If the project can justify investment in plant or equipment VATPAK will support it

A recent example:

VatPak was recently approached to hand pack free flowing product as the customer had experienced growth and was being squeezed by space. 

 

At the point of original contact VatPak could not provide any of the services requested.

 

At subsequent meetings VatPak agreed to undertake a project  to develop processes which would allow them to meet the customers requirements.  This was underpinned by a three year supply agreement.

 

            

From that point VatPak:

• Designed and purpose built a food room.
• Fitted lifting equipment to handle incoming product up to 1 tonne in weight.
• Purchased equipment to automate filling.
• Worked with machinery suppliers to develop sachet inserting equipment.
• Negotiated new agreements with packaging suppliers.
• Managed purchasing of packaging materials.
• Increased warehouse space to manage customers inventory.

This is one story VatPak’s commitment to working with customers to improve efficiencies, source new equipment, materials and enter new markets through project development and process management.
