VATPAK has the following resources in place to provide for your organic outsourcing requirements:

  • Organic Certification at Keon Park and Kew.
  • Council approved food rooms at Kew, Keon Park and Bendigo.
  • Food rooms are temperature controlled.
  • Currently seeking HACCP approval.
  • All food handling staff will be undertaking a food handling certificate.
  • Cool rooms where temperatures can be set at a constant 5 degrees Celsius.

                      

Procedures and Services:

  • Where required procedures are in place to ensure that employees are required to wear hairnets and wash their hands before commencing work.
  • VatPak has the ability use more than one site to meet deadlines on large jobs.
  • Quality checks are performed in line with our Quality Management System (QMS) which is constantly audited by major confectionery and food manufacturers.
  • Documented Organic Clean down procedures are in place.

  • Vertical Form fill and seal by weight or volume
  • Fill and weigh equipment for preformed bags, Pouches, jars tins or canisters.
  • Flow wrapping
  • Shrink Wrappers and shrink sleeve application.
  • Heat sealing equipment for preformed bags or pouches
  • Metal Detecting
  • Blending
  • Ink-jet coders (eg. Best before dates, ingredients, etc).
  • Over wrapper (display, security purposes and keeping the product dirt and dust free).
  • Short-run bottle and jar labeller.
